PVC Marble Sheet Installation
Step 1: Preparation
A flat wall surface is necessary before installing the panel. The PVC marble sheet can be installed directly on a clean, flat wall surface. A cement mortar wall is also acceptable. If there are small raised areas, flatten them. If there are small concave areas, use a foam sealing agent to level them.
Step 2: Drawing Lines and Installing Decorative Lines
Using a tape measure and marker, draw horizontal and vertical lines for the expected installation areas. Then, install the aluminum alloy decorative line in the appropriate positions.
Step 3: Cutting
Use a saw to cut the sheet into smaller pieces of the desired size. Tidy and smooth the edges with sandpaper. Ensure the back is clean for applying the liquid nail adhesive.
Step 4: Applying Adhesive
Apply liquid nail adhesive to the back of the small pieces.
Step 5: Sticking and Peeling
Gently and firmly stick the small piece onto the designated position on the wall. Hold it in place for a few minutes to ensure it adheres well. Peel off the protective film from the surface of the installed piece.
Method B: Aluminum Alloy Decorative Line Installation
For this installation method, ensure that the thickness of the sheet is adequate to support the decorative line. If not, use the liquid nail adhesive method.
Step 1: Preparation
A flat surface is required before installing the PVC marble sheet. Like other decorative UV boards, a 3 mm thick wood sheet can be installed on the wall using an air nailer. Clean its surface.
Step 2: Nailing
On the wood sheet, install the foot line near the wall base, and the internal angle bead in the wall corner. Then install the "H" shaped decorative line in the appropriate position according to the expected size of the PVC marble sheet pieces.
Step 3: Cutting
Cut the PVC marble sheet into pieces of the desired size using a saw machine, and tidy the edges with sandpaper.
Step 4: Inserting and Peeling
Insert the PVC marble sheet pieces into the decorative line, gently hammer them in, and peel off the protective film from the surface.
Method C: Adhesive Installation
Step 1: Preparation
A flat surface is required before installing the PVC marble sheet, similar to other decorative UV boards. A 3 mm thick wood sheet can be installed on the wall using an air nailer. Clean its surface.
Step 2: Cutting and Trimming
Cut the PVC marble sheet into pieces of the desired size using a saw machine. Use a trimming machine to cut the edges at a 45-degree angle, and smooth the edges with sandpaper. Depending on the situation, either the top and bottom edges or three of the four edges may require trimming. For thicker panels, this trimming greatly enhances appearance. If the panel is too thin for trimming, matching colored aluminum alloy decorative lines can be used for a neat border.
Step 3: Applying Adhesive
Clean the back of each piece and apply liquid nail adhesive to the cleaned surface.
Step 4: Sticking
Stick the adhesive-coated piece onto the designated position on the wood sheet, pressing them together gently and firmly for a few minutes to ensure a good bond.
Step 5: Filling Seams
Fill the seams with sealant in the 45-degree angle positions between two bordering pieces.
Step 6: Cleaning and Peeling
Clean the surface of the installed PVC marble sheet and remove any excess sealant. Peel off the protective film from the surface gently.
