How to install solid wood wall panels

1. Whether it is raw wood or plywood, the panels should be selected with similar colors and patterns and used in the same room. When installing wall panels, the convex surface of the wood rings should be placed inward, and the color and wood grain of adjacent panels should be similar.

2. When cutting the board, the actual size of the wooden board should be slightly larger than the actual size of the keel frame. The large surface should be neat, the small surface should be straight, and the wood grain root should be downward. When the length direction needs to be connected, the pattern should be smooth, and the joint position should avoid the line of sight. The joint of the wooden wall panel is generally below 1.2m from the ground. Meanwhile, the joint position must be on the horizontal keel. When the wooden wall panel needs to be divided into sections with gaps, if there are no design requirements, it can generally be made into 6-10MM flat grooves or octagonal grooves, and the groove position should be on the vertical dragon skeleton.

3. The prepared panel should be cleaned thoroughly, and after trial installation, a layer of moisture-proof paper should be pasted on the back of the wall panel to officially install it. The joint should be coated with adhesive and nailed firmly. The length of the fixed board nails should be 2-2.5 times the thickness of the panel, with a spacing of generally 200mm. The nail caps should be flattened and punched into the surface layer 1-2mm along the wood grain direction with a sharp punch.
